CNC Machinist / Programmer
About the role
You will run and program CNC machines at Southern Foundry — and your knowledge will shape the software. What you know about workholding, tooling, and tolerances becomes part of how Techne understands manufacturing.
Our researchers sit next to our machinists by design. You will teach the systems as much as you cut the parts.
What you'll do
- 01Program, set up, and run CNC milling and turning work
- 02Own part quality: inspection, metrology, and process feedback
- 03Work with the Techne team to encode real process knowledge into the platform
- 04Help design the cells and automation that scale Factory 01
- 05Cut the parts that prove the loop works
