HYLE INDUSTRIES

Role 01Careers

Research engineer

  • Marietta, Georgia on site
  • Full time
  • Founding team
  • Engineering intelligence

Models, geometry, and the layer between them.

01Hyle

Hyle Industries is building intelligence-native infrastructure for engineering and manufacturing: models that understand engineering, geometry, and manufacturing end to end, an API that exposes manufacturing to software, and a factory that makes the parts. The goal is to collapse the time between an idea and a physical part.

02The role

Eidos has to reason about a part the way an engineer does: what it must carry, what it can be made from, how it will be cut, and what it will cost. You will build the models, the representations, and the harness that let it do that, and you will find out whether they were right by watching the part come off the machine.

03You will

  • Build and train models that reason over geometry, loads, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Design the representations that connect CAD, simulation, and process planning, and the tool interfaces the agent drives.
  • Build evaluations against real parts: designs that get cut at Factory 01 and measured, with the result fed back into the model.
  • Work in one building with mechanical and manufacturing engineers, and with the machinists.

04You bring

  • Research depth in machine learning, and the engineering to ship what you research.
  • Fluency with geometry: meshes, B-reps, or the mathematics behind them.
  • Evidence of something hard you built end to end.
  • Comfort being measured by whether the part fits.

05Nice to have

  • CAD kernel, CAM, or simulation experience.
  • Time in a machine shop, a lab, or a factory.
  • Published work, or a repository we can read.

06What we expect

You move fast and you sweat the details. You take responsibility for the whole system, not just your piece of it. You push to make everything around you better.

07Compensation

Salary and equity set by the role and by your experience, and stated in the first conversation. Health, dental, and vision cover. Relocation to Marietta if you need it.
